On April 22, 2021, initiated and arranged by the Embassy of Hungary in Abuja, a large-scale tree planting program was organized on Earth Day with the involvement of the V4 member states. The V4 Green Corridor Tree Planting / Trees 4 Peace was hosted in Maitama Kuchi in the presence of the Czech, Polish, Slovak and Hungarian ambassadors, , representatives of the local community, the capital’s public space maintenance authority (FCT Environmental Corps) uniform and green activists.
