The Embassy of Hungary hosted two new high-profile sports events between November 6 and 10, 2018 at the National Olympic Stadium. The "DreamLand – Embassy of Hungary Cup" was announced jointly with the DreamLand Football Academy in Abia State, Gelei és Tsa Kft., and the Nigeria Football Federation. Eight different states, 12 teams, young people aged 16 to 18 participated in the event. The Hungarian scouts and the hundreds of spectators were able to watch 22 matches in five days and the selected eight top players were invited to Hungarian teams for a test game.
At the same time a unique Teqball show and mini tournament was organized with the help of the TEQBALL Kft. The Hungarian sports innovation had a tremendous success. At the end of the tournament the triumphant team, the Abuja Galadima FA, the Stadium and the DreamLand Academy received Teqball tables from the Embassy of Hungary and the TEQBALL Kft. Both of our events were accompanied by a special interest of local media.
