The #sisterArt 1st International ART & CULTURAL Exhibition was opened in the Terra Culture’s exhibition halls in Lagos on the 1st of June 2019.
The #sisterArt community, founded by Mr. Nkang Ini Dan, was established in 2018 to bring together, support and make successful artists in the creative industry around the world, but also aims to create a platform for learning, and developing an intercultural community. The organization currently has nearly 50 members from 13 countries.
37 artists, painters, sculptors, ceramicists, textile artists and jewelers presented their artworks at the exhibition. The honorary guest and one of the exhibitors was also our colleague Ms. Ágota Horváth, her painting titled "The past is behind them", and a wall carpet, made of Nigerian textile, titled "Inspiration" were selected for the exhibition. Another Hungarian artist, Mrs. Magdolna Császár, was present on the exhibition with her hand-painted silk scarves and silk jewelry.
