The Section of the Economic Affairs of the Embassy of Hungary Trade Office in Lagos, organised an Art-Workshop, called ART-GARDEN with collaboration of #sisterArt – an international group of female artists. The theme of the program was “Thorns and Blossoms” which symbolises the difficult road of female artists leading to achieve their desired goals, but gives them happiness at the same time.
During the morning session of the full day event 10 young female artists prepared various artworks, using the high quality, hand made art-paints of Hungarian company, the Pannoncolor.
In the afternoon the artworks were exhibited and the visitors were casting their votes for the best 3 artworks.
The lucky winners received art paints and canvases from the art paint manufacturing company, from Pannoncolor Ltd.
It was a well visited program by the members of the diplomatic society and the art lovers of the Nigerian High Society. Mr Oliver Enwonwu the President of the National Society of Nigerian Artist, Mr Idowu Sonaya the Chairman of the Nigerian Society of Artist in Lagos, the President of the International Women Society Mrs Nkoli Ogbolu, patron of the young artists Princess Theresa, the founder of the #sisterArt, Mr Ini Dan were present at the event, with about 65 other visitors together.
