A half day alumni meeting was held for Nigerian students who studied in Hungary on the 1st of September 2023 at the building of Embassy of Hungary in Abuja. Above old-school Nigerians, representatives of Federal Ministry of Education and Federal Scholarship Board were also invited to the event. The meeting also hosted a quiz competition, during which guests had to answer questions - among other things - about sport, culture and gastronomy with Hungarian-Nigerian connections. The guests also shown highlighted interest to the latest results and details of the 10 years old Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program, what was spotlighted during the event, as flagship scholarship program of the Government of Hungary. The program was supported by Deputy State Secretariat for Training, Scholarship Programs and Science Diplomacy of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Hungary.
