In co-operation with the Insidy Story Gift Boutique and the Trade Office of the Hungarian Embassy in Lagos, we held a successful trade show on the 21th of May 2019 at Victoria Island in Lagos.

The exclusive store selling luxury products hosted the exhibition, where modern and classic style, hand-painted, 24-carat gold-plated porcelains of the Hollóháza Porcelain Manufacture were presented, such as tableware, coffee and tea sets, porcelain ornaments, as well as glass-art jewelry by Mrs. Kata Simon, and hand painted silk scarves by textile artist Mrs. Magdolna Császár.

During the presentation of Hungarian wines, we presented one type of five Tokaj wineries each (Grand Tokaj, Homoky, Áts, Béres, Carpinus), two types of red wine (Thummerer, Eszterbauer), sparkling wine (Törley), two kinds of Hungarian Pálinka from Hungarian distilleries, and liqueurs of the Tokaj Spirit.

Members of the diplomatic corps in Lagos, the Honorary Consul of Hungary in Lagos, as well as several Indian, Pakistani and Nigerian merchants were present at the event.

The Diplomat Magazine reported on the event.

The exhibition was open for two weeks.

The Trade Office in Lagos provides information about the possibilities of import of the Hungarian porcelains and wines to Nigeria to the interested merchants, and sample products can be also viewed in the Trade Office in Lagos.
