The Embassy of Hungary in Abuja organized a Hungarian Food Show with the support of NEXT-KPI program. The event was hosted in two cities, Lagos on November 9, 2022 and Abuja on November 18, 2022. The participating Hungarian companies covered a wide spectrum of food production in Hungary, including sauces, canned products, sweets, biscuits, honey products, herbal medications, etc. The invited guests were representatives of local food trade chains and heads of related Nigerian authorities. The special feature of the event was that the exhibited products could not only be admired, but also tasted, which tasting was very popular among the guests who attended. We hope that the event will cause significant contribution to making more Hungarian products available on the shelves of Nigerian supermarkets.
