On the 22nd March 2019, the Embassy of Hungary in Abuja hosted the traditional reception in commemoration of the 15 March 1848 Revolution, which, like in previous years, was attended by Hungarian citizens living in Nigeria, and members of the alumni community. On the commemoration, H.E. dr. Sándor Beer, Ambassador of Hungary underlined the importance of the alumni community with regard to the cultural and ecomomical relations between Hungary and Nigeria. During the ceremony, one member of the local staff has received a certificate of appreciation for his diligent work at the Embassy for more than 20 years.
