Ambassador dr. Sándor Beer received Father Izunna Okonkwo PhD, CEO of St. Charles Boromeo Hospital in Onitsha, on a courtesy visit at the Embassy on 14 March 2023. During the meeting, the Father gave a detailed report on the ongoing construction works of the expansion of the nursing school of the hospital, which was supported by the Hungary Helps Agency with a grant of about 1 million USD. The opening of the new dormitory wing is scheduled for the summer of 2023, as originally planned.
